Bad Kissingen, in Bavarian Lower Franconia, describes itself as Germany’s most popular health resort. The casino is located in a historic building from the 19th century with a sophisticated interior. Light projections by Derksen were used to set up a wayfinding system that supports the room signage. For this purpose, two PHOS 45 indoor projection luminaires were discretely installed between the slat panelling. The projected signs were precisely positioned and measured on site in order to compensate the optical distortion by correcting the design of the projection motif (gobo).
