Recycled steel from southern Germany
Lech-Stahlwerke GmbH is the only steelworks in Bavaria to recycle steel scrap and use it to produce high-quality construction and reinforcing steel. In this way, the company actively contributes to the conservation of resources and stands for a circular economy in practice. In addition to the construction sector, customers primarily include the automotive industry and its suppliers. Lech-Stahlwerke works with state-of-the-art technology, invests in modern technologies and cooperates with universities and research institutes.
Projections replace stickers and paintings on the floor
Warning signs, markings of traffic routes and production areas are an essential part of the safety concept in production halls. If a sticker or painting is applied to the floor, a problem can arise: The information detaches from the floor, as the material cannot withstand permanent exposure to industrial trucks, machines and pedestrians. A projection can be driven over or walked over without any wear and tear. It remains visible even if something covers the floor, e.g. dirt or foil. Projected warning symbols can be switched on and off via a control, e.g. a proximity switch.
PHOS LED projectors for industrial safety
Lech-Stahlwerke GmbH has decided to use PHOS LED projectors in its factory. The systems from the projection technology specialist in Gelsenkirchen meet the requirements of an industrial production environment:
• Mechanical resistance
• High thermal load capacity
• Maintenance-free operation over the entire service life
• Use of individual warning symbols and graphics
