CLAAS, with its headquarters in Harsewinkel, Westphalia, is an internationally significant manufacturer of harvesting machinery, including tractors, telescopic handlers, combine harvesters and forage harvesters. The company was founded in 1913 by August Claas and his brothers. Since 1936, the company has been manufacturing combine harvesters, a product inseparably linked with the CLAAS name. Its modern product range includes agricultural information technology, which is developed in its own centre for \u201cPrecision Farming\u201d. Approx. 2,300 employees work at the CLAAS main factory in Harsewinkel. There, visitors are welcomed in the Technoparc, the exhibition and customer centre of CLAAS. A representative range of machines from tractors to combine harvesters is exhibited on more than 2,500 m\u00b2 \u2013 with various functional models being added. In the museum area, visitors can gain an insight into the company\u2019s history, which goes back over 100 years. PHOS 85 projectors from Derksen are used in the museum to effectively stage quotations from the company\u2019s history above the exhibition area.
