Gobo Colour 1
Glass gobo with a single colour filter. The graphic is lasered out of the chrome and the colour filter. We will check your graphic file and you will receive a non-binding offer from us. For graphics with poor quality, we offer digital image editing, which may incur additional costs.
File formats
File formats for your projection motif
Vector files
Vector data describe simple to complex graphics with mathematical formulas that define the origin, direction, size, colour etc. of an area or line. The main advantage of a vector file is that the graphics can be resized without loss of quality.

Pixel files
Pixel data are best suited to reproduce photographic images. All digital cameras and scanners generate pixel data. Pixel data cannot be enlarged without loss of quality. Large files are often required for detailed and sharp photographic images.

To avoid difficulties in the representation of fonts, characters in vector files should be completely converted into paths (line art). Please rasterize Photoshop layers with text before submitting.
If you are unsure about the right file format, we will be happy to advise you. The rules listed below serve as a simplified orientation.
Colour filters
The right colours for your projection motif
Dichroic colour filters are characterised by the highest colour purity and brilliance. A range of 18 standard filters is available to give your motif the desired colours. Special colours that fit in uncompromisingly with your corporate design can be created either by colour mixing or, for larger quantities, by using colour filters manufactured to customer specifications.

Sizes
Projection motifs of all sizes
Derksen produces glass gobos from 22.5 to 105 mm diameter, for any type of projection system on the market.
- The gobo size is equivalent to the outer diameter of the gobo.
- The image size indicates the maximum image area that the projector can display.
Due to the large number of projection systems and the constant technical changes made by equipment manufacturers, it is not possible for us to archive reliable data on gobo and image size. Therefore, please state the current dimensions of your gobo with every enquiry. This information can be found in the manufacturer’s data sheets or in the operating instructions supplied.
